Discover the perfume news: Kilian L’Heure Verte. The original author’s collection The Liquors has become very symbolic for the elite perfume house Kilian, the founder of which belongs to the famous Hennessy family, known for its premium cognac and brand. Each fragrance of this exclusive line is dedicated to a certain alcoholic drink, replicating not only its subtle aroma, but also its mood, aura and range of sensations.
Kilian L’Heure Verte’s bright woody “fougère” is a charming perfume sketch on the theme of Paris at night, lit by countless street lights and neon signs of colorful European stripes. Each of them, without exception, serves a legendary alcoholic shot, created by an experienced bartender on the basis of intoxicating tart absinthe mixed with sugar syrup. The fragrance, created by the talented modern craftsman Mathieu Nardini, plays with hundreds of thousands of sunbeams, shining inside a perfectly cut perfume vessel reminiscent of a sophisticated bar glass.
In addition to the central accords of herbaceous absinthe, the perfume pyramid features the thick sweet nuances of licorice and the sour herbs of numerous violet leaves. The voluminous and stable base of Kilian L’Heure Verte is based on rich resinous-balsamic motifs of patchouli and woody creamy sandalwood, wrapped in a scented mist of traditional vetiver with characteristic accents of bittersweet chocolate and dry meadow herbs.
